Informatiesysteem voor watermanagement

Extensive restoration work was required after the Wisla and Odra rivers burst their banks in 1997. Once this work was completed, a consortium comprising NEDECO (DHV), HKV, Intergraph, FinsSkog and OPGK began to develop an information system to help improve water management. The system can collect, compare and process a variety of information relating to high water levels and flooding. This enables better evaluation of flood risks and therefore enhances public safety.
