Design of a solar-cell plant packed with sustainable applications

A new solar-cell plant is being constructed in Tienen, Belgium. DHV is responsible for the entire design of the factory: architecture, structural engineering, and building and process installations. The consulting engineers will apply various sustainable applications, in the area of water saving, green roof systems and heat recovery. The building will be efficient and safe but also flexible, to accommodate increasing demand and rapid expansion.
