Real-time water monitoring
Early warning system for water supply rapidly growing city. Bangkok (Thailand) is rapidly growing, increasing the demand for water for irrigation and industry. To improve the water quality of the Chao Phraya River and its network of Khlongs (canals), Fugro and consortium partners have developed an early warning system for water quality, to monitor the current pollution situation. This “Metropole Watch Monitoring System” consists of twelve automatic real-time monitoring stations based along the borders of the river and main Khlongs. The collected information will be an important source for the operation of aeration and oxygenation systems.
