The Casa da Musica, housing the National Orchestra of Porto, stands on a new public square at the historic Rotunda da Boavista. The iconic building, with its facated form made of white concrete, features a 1.300-seat auditorium inside. Fully glazed foyers have been built around this large hall of the Casa da Música in Porto. As the hall is also (partly) made of glass, provided by Cricursa, daylight can enter from two sides. Furthermore, visitors are afforded a spectacular view over the city of Porto.
